Whether you fly or drive to the European
country of The Netherlands, you will definitely want to visit the city
of Amsterdam. Amsterdam is the Dutch capital and its nightlife has no
competitor in Europe. Prostitution and soft drugs are legal in Amsterdam
as in all parts of The Netherlands.
Amsterdam Red Light District

natural and easy.
There are three Red Light Districts in
Amsterdam: the Walletjes, Singel and Pijp. The largest and best-known
Red Light District in all of Holland is the Amsterdam Red Light District
called "De Wallen", also known as Walletjes or Rosse Buurt.
Other famous Red Light Districts are in:
- Utrecht - 30 minutes by train from Amsterdam city, has a canal boat
based district - Den Haag - has a great looking prostitute shopping mall
- Rotterdam - has numerous brothels, though they can't be compared with

In many smaller cities you also find the

for sex is 16. It's very rare to find a Dutch woman working as a
prostitute in the Amsterdam Red Light District; most of the prostitutes
come from abroad, and a good percentage are illegal immigrants. Twenty
minutes of sex will cost you about 40 to 50 € (euros). For many years,
live sex shows in the Red Light Districts have also been a big part of
Amsterdam tourism. Men and woman from around the world enjoy these
nightly erotic shows that combine sex & humor with lights, music and
choreography. Visitors can also visit brothels, peek in on peepshows, or
visit the Erotic Museum, all located in the Red Light District of
Amsterdam.
Amsterdam Coffee Shops
Amsterdam is also highly favored by those
who smoke weed and use other soft drugs. Here you can get legally high
when you buy and smoke marijuana bought in the most famous outlets for
drugs called "coffe shops". The Dutch do not normally arrest
people for possesion or distribution of small quantity of drugs. In fact
I've seen many people ask a policeman in the street if they have a light
for their fresh rolled joint.
Smoking pot in Amsterdam coffee shops is
based on the Dutch rules which limit the consumption and purchase to a
maximum of 30 grams and the buyer should be at least 18 years old of
age.
An Amsterdam trip can be summed up in
this line "Come for the drugs, stay for the whores!"
